Medically trained in Argentina and The Netherlands, Dr. Rubio has built an international career defined by scientific rigor and operational excellence. Since relocating to Zurich in 2017, he has taken on expanding regional and global responsibilities, becoming a key medical leader in oncology drug development.

Dr. Rubio brings deep experience across the full spectrum of oncology clinical development, including:
- Medical Monitoring Leadership – Oversight of more than 200 global oncology and hematology studies, guiding safety, data integrity, and clinical decision-making.
- Team Management – Leadership of 50+ physicians across international, complex medical monitoring teams.
- Oncology Drug Development – Contributions from First‑In‑Human trials through regulatory registration and post‑marketing research.
- Strategic Medical Direction – Providing medical leadership to the Board of Directors, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
